REELEX Machinery

REELEX coils can only be produced on specially-designed REELEX coiling machines. REELEX Packaging Solutions manufactures a complete line of coiling machines suited for every size business. From the dual-capability D-200 to the fully automatic D-2000, every REELEX machine produces the same quality coils, but differ in automation level and production rate.

In addition to coiling machines, REELEX Packaging Solutions also manufactures high-performance ancillary equipment such as accumulators and motorized payoffs specially-designed to maximize the performance of the REELEX packaging line.

Blueprint

Purpose-Built

From the ground-up, all REELEX machines are designed and built at our Patterson, NY facility.

Because REELEX Packaging Solutions is the only manufacturer of REELEX coiling machines, every part is designed and manufactured in-house for dependability and performance.

Customized Electronics

The circuit boards and programming in every machine are the foundation in producing REELEX coils.

Using proprietary formulas and algorhythms, the house-built circuitry translate mathematical principles into precise mechanical motion.

Mandrel, Endforms and Traverse

If the custom-built circuitboards are the electrical heart of the REELEX machine, the mandrels, endforms and traverse are the mechanical muscles.

Each component has been specially designed to place each layer of the coil exactly where it needs to be.

Adjustable Precision

Winding a REELEX coil is an extremely complex operation; which is why the electrical and machanical components of the machine are designed to run in complete harmony while still allowing for flexibility.

Parameters such as holesize, weave ratios and hole shift are all adjustable, allowing the coil to be fine-tuned to accomodate varying products.

Adaptable

Most REELEX coiling machines can be customized depending on the customers demands.

Stretch wrapping, spark testing, printing and other capabilities can all be added to existing machinery and control systems, for seemless operation.

Superior Tension Control

One of the keys to precise coiling is tension control. Over 30 years, REELEX machines have improved tension control methods to overcome issues such as electrical performance issues on LAN cables.

Today's buffers are precise, lightweight components specifically designed to put minimal stress on the product while maintaining tension requirements.

REELEX also manufacturers traditional Spoolers which are available either as stand-alone machines, or as add-ons to existing REELEX packaging lines.

REELEX Packaging Solutions is also fully committed to supporting all of our older machinery. From the W-250 to D-510, we do our best to keep our machines running; some as much as 25 years or more.
